Eco Eethical Skincare

Beauty is no longer just skin deep. Good health, holistic lifestyle, and ethical and environmental responsibility all play a role in the choices we make to look and feel our best.

We believe that eco-ethical is not just about using products that are nontoxic

Or plant-based. They also need to be grown, produced and manufactured In a way that takes the environment into account as a sign of ethical responsibility. Here are some of the

Ethics we feel are good to mention.

Products should be made from ingredients that are nonsynthetic, natural, organic, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Natural ingredients are derived from plants, minerals, and animals. They need to be free of synthetic ingredients and preservatives, parabens, and sulfates. Natural ingredients are often broken down into naturally occurring compounds that when listed on a product label sound like synthetic compounds that can be confusing. A product also only has to only contain one natural ingredient in order to be labeled natural. There are not a lot of regulations that define natural products. We encourage our clients to let us  see if we are able to assist with any queries they have regarding their products compositions

Organic products have to be certified so and clearly state the percentage of ingredients that are Organic. Organic products contain ingredients that are farmed in a very specific way. They need to be farmed free of pesticides, GMO s, fertilizers, hormones, and antibiotics. Packaging may also play a role like eco friendly or recyclable.

Biodynamic products take into account the ingredients as well as the environment like sustainability and soil.

Vegan products do not contain any animal or animal byproducts. They are not tested on animals.

Cruelty-free products are not tested on animals nor are they in any way harmful to animals.

There are other Ethics that are also worth paying attention to when using Skincare and health products. Are the business practices sustainable and ethical like waste and resource management, biodegradable packaging, and ethical sourcing of ingredients? Support and growth for the communities involved also show social consciousness.

We believe in using products that are good for our health and the health of the environment.
